mocharse

to share

This word comes from Old Spanish, and Latin before that, and it means "to cut" or "share". It use in moder Spanish has survived however only in Mexico. Interestingly, the Italian word "mocha", which means "coffee cut with milk", comes from the word "mozzare" which also means to "to cut" or "divide". It can be used to say "help out for the beers" like "móchate mochate para las cervezas".
